 Resin has not hardened after the indicated time

After your resin casting, it takes time to get hardened and turned into the shape that you are looking for. But if after the indicated time resin is not hardened then there must be a problem.

Check the ratio two times that if there is any mistake while mixing the resin. It may affect the catalyzation of the product.

If you are working at low temperatures from 25° to 15° the curing time will increase automatically. In this case, use external heat resources such as a stove or radiator.

  • Use a roller to smooth the surface of your resin to remove the bulges.
  • If the resin totally catalyzes, sand it with a sheet of 100 grit abrasive paper and finish it with a coating of glossy polyurethane spray paint.

 The applied varnish doesn’t stick to the resin

The varnish you have chosen doesn’t stick so you have made some mistakes during the preparatory stage.

If your resin is not fully cured, first let it fully dry before applying the varnish.

Move the heat gun quickly for 10 minutes on the surface of your product.
